My Nottingham based client are an Independent Financial Adviser, looking for an experienced and competent IFA Administrator to join them on a permanent but part time basis. They will be flexible on the hours/days you work but are looking for someone to cover 3 days per week (6-7 hours per day) which will include a Friday (the other two days can be your choice), and are paying up to £12.50 per hour. You must have experience of dealing with IFA, ideally in a similar administrative capacity, or life insurance experience as a minimum. The role is varied, but responsibilities will include: - New business processing - Obtaining and completing application paperwork - Sending new business to providers - Submitting business to main investment platform - Entering business onto back office system - Managing and updating tasks on back office system - Chasing business through to completion/chasing providers for outstanding information as required - Chasing fees - Processing 'Letters of Authority' - Generating requests for information - Sending letters to providers - Inputting plan information on back office system - General administrative duties i.e. dealing with incoming post, client and provider liaison, scanning and saving documents, client research etc - Answering the phone To be considered for the role, in addition to needing previous IFA experience, you must also: - Have experience of using back office systems - Have experience of using Platforms/Wraps - Have knowledge of Pensions and Investments - Have basic compliance knowledge and understanding of what makes a compliant file - Have excellent organisational and prioritising skills - Have excellent written and spoken communication skills - Have good computer literacy and typing skills - Be comfortable following prescribed processes - Be able to work alone using own initiative This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual looking for flexible working hours and secure position.
