Are you a numerical minded experienced Payroll Officer looking for an exciting new opportunity? If so, we want to hear from you Our clients based north of Lincoln are currently recruiting for a full time Payroll Officer on an ongoing temporary basis with the potential of being permanent for the right individual. Purpose of the job: To assist the team in the provision of payroll and administrative services to our clients. Including:- -To manage the client monthly payroll operation ensuring that each stage of the payroll process is actioned properly; -That all staff are paid correctly and timely; -Ensure appropriate and accurate information is provided to clients and stakeholders; -That correct information and payments are made to all stakeholders, internal and external including RTI to HMRC. -This role commands the strictest level of confidentiality and discretion and as such, the post holder will be held accountable for any irregularities. Skills required: -GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics essential Grade C or above - Knowledge of payroll systems -Computer literate in Microsoft Office, word and excel. -Experience of HMRC requirements with regard to Tax, National Insurance, and Statutory deductions and payments. -Experience of Auto Enrolment pension schemes administration. -Ability to meet deadlines. -Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within an organisation. -Ability to be accurate with data input and analysis, especially when working to tight deadlines. -General Office experience. -Being able to work as part of a small team. -Good interpersonal skills. -Ability to work to deadlines. -Good time management skills. -Strong confidentiality ethos; honest, reliable & flexible. -Ability to work on own initiative and plan and prioritise workload. -Excellent Keyboard skills.
