Want the chance to lead on an important area of work supporting the development of an insight function at a sector leading students’ union?

If the answer is yes, then this role is for you. The role of the Insight Manager will be integral in coordinating Kent Union’s work to develop a new insight function to embed the use of insight and data to inform decision making, planning, implementation and review of the Union’s work, particularly around enhancing our academic representation and student voice remits. Day-to-day tasks will include research and project management, conducting data analysis, creating reports, and playing an active role in the engagement of internal and external stakeholders to disseminate evidence and findings. You will use your research skills to gather and interpret information about student attitudes, opinions and behaviour to help inform our student voice work as well as shape our wider union priorities and strategies.

We are looking for someone who is organised and strategic, as well as passionate about supporting students, empowering student voice, and making a difference in an exciting and fast paced environment. You’ll have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to engage with both students, volunteers and senior staff within the University.

We are looking for someone with experience of designing and delivering research projects, a track record in coordinating multiple projects and someone willing to go above and beyond for the students at Kent.
