Do you hold a professional qualification in Librarianship? Previous work in libraries? Bertram Group seeks a qualified Cataloguer to undertake the work of in-house cataloguing and classification, this includes cataloguing books, eBooks and other materials using MARC21 to RDA standard. You will also be required to maintain statistics and allocate daily cataloguing workloads. The successful candidate will ideally have a professional qualification in librarianship, information management or information science and previous experience in library work including MARC cataloguing and Dewey/LC classification. Full training may be available for the right candidate. You must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and be very familiar with using PCs. The ability to speak other languages, in particular French or German, would be desirable.
