SEN Teaching Assistant - Haverhill (Secondary) We are looking for a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of partner schools in Haverhill, Suffolk. SEN Teaching Assistant within Secondary School in Haverhill Charming Secondary School with very supportive staff Working with KS3 and KS4 students (11-16 years) with ASD and ADHD £65-£70 per day Starting immediately until the end of the academic year initially Helping to motivate and inspire students to fulfil their potential at school Opportunities to also support children who speak English as an Additional Language (EAL) The ideal candidate for this SEN Teaching Assistant will be a passionate graduate who has previous experience working with SEN children either in a volunteer or paid role. You will need to have achieved a 2:1 or above in a degree that is closely linked to SEN, Child Development or Psychology. The school are looking to appoint a graduate who can work effectively with special educational needs pupils to enhance their educational experiences. To be successful in this role, you must have the skills to show your passion for teaching and education and demonstrate your enthusiasm for education. You will be taking instruction from a talented Special Educational Needs Coordinator who is on-hand to give you advice and support your development throughout the role. You may work with pupils who speak 'English as an Additional Language' and you will work with pupils in small groups or on a 1:1 basis.
