Head of Levy & Grants

NXTGEN have a unique opportunity for a Head of Levy & Grant's to join a leading national Not for Profit business, based in Peterborough. This is a pivotal role that will influence strategy and long term planning for the organisation, utilising scenario based models to understand the impact of economic decisions. As Head of Levy & Grants, you will work closely with the Head of Strategy to review current Grant Schemes, reviewing market and economic trends to ensure schemes are fit for purpose. You will work closely with the central finance team to review budgets and long term forecasts, influencing how funding is spent to ensure organisational objectives are achieved. The Head of Levy & Grants will manage a small and dedicated team of Analysts that embrace change and has a forward thinking mentality towards continuous improvement. Key responsibilities will include: - Design and develop long term forecasting models to understand the impact of a variety of scenarios, before utilising this information to influence business strategy - Play an influential role in the setting of Levy and Grant schemes as well as how the revenue is distributed across the organisation - Map out economic and industry trends to create greater understanding of any changes to Grant and Levy schemes - Lead on the development of funding strategies for short and long term planning, proactively working with the organisation to understand individual requirements - Lead a small but dedicated team of forward thinking analysts that can drive a continuous improvement and change within the organisation The successful candidate will ideally have prior experience in driving financial strategy and will be confident building and manipulating financial/economic models. You will ideally hold a recognised accountancy qualification (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent), or will have a background working in grants and funding within the not for profit/charity sector. As a member of the leadership team, a key deliverable within the role will be to influence business decisions and strategy, driving the economic agenda of the business. As such, candidates will need excellent communication and business partnering skills. Candidates will need to demonstrate prior experience influencing and driving financial strategy and objectives.
