This is through our extensive involvement with Microsoft, our inhouse software and development department that forms a wider solutions team with an opportunity to work directly with our influential customers. For this role as an Engineering Consultant or Consultant within Modality's Collaboration and Intelligence (CI) team, you will be working within a developed but small team of consultants that focuses on our CI offerings comprising software, professional services and data. This also provides an opportunity to shape our in-house solutions, products and services built for Teams, M365 and Skype for Business. This includes the full delivery and service lifecycle (Deploy & Operate, Support and Consult), with a primary focus on the Consult phase. The primary responsibility of this role being to provide technical expertise throughout a variety of activities to ensure solution delivery and customer success. Our Consultants have the opportunity to work with a wide array of customers, across multiple sectors and engage across various stakeholders. This role allows primarily for working from home, UK hours and on occasions the need to cover outside of business hours for our global customer base. Technical Skills and Experience Required Experience of Teams, M365 or SfB Microsoft UC platforms Stack awareness of Unified Communications, 3rd Party products and tooling Understanding of networking, windows, application and services Knowledge of broader Data and Analytics including SQL & Power BI Reporting desirable but not essential An understanding of Azure Fundamentals, Deploy ARM, Subscriptions or API advantageous Previous deployment and support experience, tackling issues and a can-do attitude Maintaining documentation, adopt best practises, gap analysis and efficiencies Identifying and supporting areas for transition to our managed services and monitoring department Ability to lead workshops and present Analytical, insightful with the ability to communicate effectively, holding an audience and forming key relationships The ability to work as part of a team of developers, product owners and consultants in supporting the wider team, function and business objectives.
