Aurora resourcing are looking to recruit a passionate and child focused Home Manager for a residential Childrens EBD home based in Braintree. This brand new home was created to ensure that Children young people have more than just a safe place to live. Their mission is to create and provide thoughtful and informed approaches of care programmes to meet individual needs. This position is suited to someone looking to join an organisation that is exciting and have taken a caring and child focused approach to offer the greatest care and support to the young people they care for. Ideally you would have already gained experience as a deputy manager or a team leader looking for the next step up. Interviews are being held asap with offers of an immediate start. You should have an Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent) and the relevant experience working in residential childrens' home. Role: You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Children's Home including providing professional support, guidance and supervision to the staff team. Requirements Must have a Full UK Driving license. Good written and IT skills. Able to communicate with children, colleagues and external customers. Able to actively listen to others. Ability to work individually and as part of a team. Be calm in situations of crisis and able to lead.
