Group Investigations' purpose is to protect Aviva and influence sustainable behavioural change by investigating and exposing serious breaches of the Business Ethics Code. The Investigations Manager role is an exciting opportunity to join our global team that works across all markets and business units in the Aviva Group. Working with Group Investigations' senior leadership team (Director and Heads of Investigations) and global colleagues, you will broadly be responsible for: Leading and managing the delivery of investigations across Aviva's UK and European markets Effective stakeholder management across the Group Supporting the senior leadership team with respect to reporting to Group and Regional/Business Unit Audit and Risk committees on: investigation activity, efficiency of the design and operation of relevant controls and Speak Up Activity The successful applicant will be based in London, Norwich, Bristol or York. Given the nature of our work, the role includes regular UK and occasional overseas travel, sometimes at short notice (dependent on a return to normal working in the UK). In some instances, this travel may result in extended periods working away from home. We are however as flexible as possible when it comes to working patterns. Skills & experience we would like to see: Proven experience in investigations, as well as critical thinking and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail The ability to write high quality factual reports and work flexibly within a defined methodology Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills The ability to listen and reason and take a balanced view Proven ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities Strong data analytics knowledge and a second European language would be an advantage What will you get for this role?
