Project Resource Scheduler/Works Administrator

Permanent Project Resource Scheduler/Works Administrator based in Longstanton. Your new company With more than 30 years of experience working in the Highway, Civils, Utilities and Telecoms sector, working with established clients throughout the UK and in both the Public and Blue Chip private sectors. They have established offices across the country and are known now as an industry leader. Your new role You will be required to allocate work activity in line with client needs across a team of operatives/subcontractors spread nationwide. You will be motivated and energetic to ensure that you are always striving to meet agreed SLAs to liaise with the client to resolve queries in relation to the works being undertaken/completed and providing regular updates on progress as required. You will be on hand to answer any queries and issues relating to works being undertaken and will have the ability to troubleshoot quickly and efficiently. You will be required to complete specialist administration tasks such as applying for permits, daily submission of specialist reports and managing orders and data entry to a highly accurate level. In addition you will be providing administration support to the Resource Scheduling Manager including managing invoices, inputting information into timesheets, providing regular project updates and any other addition support as and when required and often at short notice and to tight deadlines. What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this role you should ideally have previous experience in a similar area - any experience in the utilities, street lighting, fibre environment would be highly advantageous. Preferably you will have undertaken an administrative support position within the construction sector or have had experience in a project/scheduling type role. Knowledge of NRSWA or HAUC is ideal so too is knowledge of permit schemes. You will have excellent organizational skills being able to prioritise a busy workload effectively. You must have an excellent eye for detail being able to work in a fast paced, changing environment. You will have excellent IT skills with a motivated, enthusiastic work ethic to form part of a hardworking, dynamic team.
