Manufacturing Engineers - UK & Ireland

Criterion International are now looking to employ Manufacturing Engineers to work for an innovative international Medical Device company on a long-term basis in various locations across the UK & Ireland. Responsibilities: Demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality. Give technical guidance to Associate Engineers and Technicians. Be an influential team member, fully motivated to achieve and demonstrate best practices in line with the department and site objectives. Understand and comply with all the regulations governing the quality systems. Ensure all direct reports are aware of their commitment to patient safety and product quality, are current with their training requirements and understand and comply with all other regulations governing their work. Analyse process, product, material or equipment specifications and performance requirements. Under broad supervision compile and analyse operational, test and experimental data to establish performance standards for newly implemented or modified products / processes. Draw analytical conclusions from test results leading to effective technical resolution. Troubleshoot new products and processes whilst working closely with product development. Continually seek to drive improvements in process design, layout and operational performance. Demonstrate good working knowledge and application of validation techniques and associated regulatory requirements. Actively promote and participate in a cross-functional teamwork environment. Evaluate in conjunction with EHS new equipment / processes / chemicals for environmental impact / effect to eliminate or lessen such impacts / effects. Qualifications and Experience: Honours Degree or equivalent in a Technical Discipline (Science, Biomedical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, etc.) Minimum 3-5 years' experience working at an Engineering level, ideally in Medical Device industry or other highly regulated environment Project Management experience highly desirable Salary and Benefits Salary - To be negotiated, depending on experience Healthcare Cover and Screening Life Assurance Pension Contribution Training & Education Please apply with your up to date CV or call Alex on (phone number removed)
