Technical Sales Executive

Work for a globally recognised manufacturer located in Watton as a Technical Sales Executive. Due to ongoing demand this is permanent, full-time vacancy and requires a tenacious & adept sales professional with proven experience in a similar industry. The salary is a competitive basic for the region which can be discussed at application stage. The Sales Executive will be tasked to develop sales and marketing strategies to identify potential customers and develop business relationships, creating customer proposals, processing quotes, and negotiating orders. The Sales Executive will have proven technical sales experience with experience in presenting to clients. They must be flexible with travel as this role will require you to visit customers approximately every couple of months from 2 days to a week at a time. Responsibilities include: Work towards building relationships with existing customers within specific regions/industries New Business Development - Identify leads, cold call prospects and develop pipeline. Arrange and visit existing customers and potential prospects to present company and products and investigate potential leads Preparing quotations and negotiating orders, following up to update status and gain market knowledge. Learn about business processes and product range, including technical calculations. Deal with customer enquiries and orders via phone and email. In time will be able to resolve technical queries with customers Research new leads, markets, applications and keep track of relevant market information. Attending industry exhibitions throughout Europe Produce monthly sales and activity report Personal Specifications: Technical product sales experience is essential. Must be enthusiastic, ambitious, dynamic, self -motivated and have an appetite to succeed. Excellent communication and presentation skills and common sense are a must. Ability to effectively negotiate with clients. Must have good analytical skills. Full driving licence Full training will be provided. This will be working in the office under new guidelines. The hours are 37 hours per week as follows: Monday to Thursday: 08:30am-5pm Friday: 08:45am -3:30pm 45 minutes for lunch each day 20 days holiday per annum rising by 1 day per 2 years full service to a maximum of 25 days plus the bank holidays.
