JOB DESCRIPTION - Engineering Manager As the Site Engineering Manager you will be responsible for all engineering personnel on site. You will oversee the day to day maintenance of a wide range of cutting-edge technology, including conveyors, sortation equipment, robotics, SCADA and ancillary machinery. You will also be responsible for: The day to day leadership of the team, which is already well established and performing well. Analysing operational and technical data to improve the productivity and efficiency of the site. Managing relationships with internal and external stake holders. All health and safety on site. Achievement of all KPI's. Management of a multimillion-pound budget. Training, development and support of the team Provide complete customer satisfaction whilst enhancing the reputation of the Company. Gain a reputation for rapid and effective support. Manage site budgets and associated commercial activities. Match tasks with team skill-sets to ensure delivery of defined SLA. Manage as the on-site representative, all system improvements and installations. Manage all training requirements, both technical and regulatory. Develop on-site staff and resources. Increase the scope and efficiency of the Company's support solutions. Be an effective manager focused on team development. Work against timeframes to complete reactive repairs. The Candidate The ideal Engineering Manager will need: A track record in the management and leadership of maintenance teams in an automated environment. Experience in the leadership of continuous improvement activities. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders Degree Level or at least HNC/D Engineering. Systems background.
