We are currently working with a leading provider of window shading systems who now have a requirement for an experienced 'hands on' Contracts Manager to join their experienced team in the delivery of specialist window blind and curtain installation projects. The Contracts Manager plays a critical role in our client's ability to achieve their goals by creating and maintaining strong relationships between all members involved in the works being carried out. In this role, you will be responsible for the co-ordination of all labor and material resources through effective communications to achieve the contractual completion of projects required. Where extensions to the programme or contractual changes are required you will communicate these to all stakeholders and manage expectations to deliver in the best interests of the company. Our client's company is well respected in the industry for its capacity to deliver exceptional projects and the skills of the Contracts Manager is critical to their continued success. Requirements Ability to simultaneously control and manage multiple projects across multiple sites of multiple sizes. Ability to control subcontract teams Knowledge and experience in using appropriate methodologies for construction-based project management. Construction Industry knowledge in the same or arena or another recognized trade such as carpentry or electrical. Previous experience of multiple project/programme management and delivery. Exceptional project planning, organizing and co-ordination skills for both short and medium-term projects and all associated phases. Practical ability and willingness to assist with and carry out installations in the event of emergency's arising or reduced work demands in the main organisational role will be of significant interest. Whilst not the key requirements of the role, proven practical ability alongside other skills looked for will be a key consideration alongside others mentioned. In order to be considered for this position, you must hold the below personal attributes: Have a 'One Team' One Goal' approach Construction Industry knowledge in the same or similar arena. Previous experience of multiple project/programme management and delivery. A great organiser who can manage multiple work and project streams simultaneously Skills in Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word and Excel programmes. Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills A leader and motivator of people, who will direct a team and influence others to maintain the exceptional levels of service Ability to meet project objectives within designated constraints A strong thinker, who will 'design in' success to avoid compromise or risk A specialist with proven ability to resolve operational problems, design issues, and installation challenges in a multi-trade environment Drivers License (Maximum of 6 penalty points) Hours: 06:00 - 16:30 (Mon-Fri) Benefits Salary between £42,500 - £50,000 per annum DOE 20 days holiday 8 days BH Pension Scheme Free on-site parking Vehicle
