Technical Sales Manager - Durasteel &163;60K - &163;80K &43; Bonus Scheme &43; Benefits National Role - Home and Office Based My client is a leading contractor operating within the passive fire protection market, delivering fire door installation and fire compartmentation projects ranging from &163;1k to &163;2m. As an accredited installer of Durasteel products they aim to grow their market share, delivering projects across a wide range of industries, including power stations, nuclear, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, off-shore platforms, warehouses, airports, rail and metro facilities. The main purpose of the role is to secure opportunities linked to the strategic growth criteria though interfacing with clients to determine their requirements to develop proposals including cost estimates, work plan, terms and conditions. You will have significant experience of selling Durasteel products and an understanding of the technical commercials for developing bespoke solutions. The key responsibilities for the Technical Sales Manager will include: Work nationally, with key focus within industrial sectors Attain, grow and relationship manage clients Ability to lead and develop convincing bids to best position our business to achieve its growth aspirations Gather and analyse market and industry intelligence, metrics, and trends to determine customer needs Identify opportunities early in the sales cycle to ensure maximum market share within this key new product sector Deliver business development related presentations, negotiate, and close business with nominated accounts, working in coordination with location business development resources Provide positive leadership and representation of the business to the public, customers, and to serving on company project teams, conducting employee meetings and visiting work areas and interacting with employees Represent company at industry wide exhibitions and seminars Prepare and present at industry events/seminars Own and develop agreed market sector with key defined growth metrics Analysis of research to identify target customers by understanding their needs and whose forward plans, values and core purpose match our business plans PQQ & Bid Management in collaboration with relevant internal departments We are looking for the Technical Sales Manager to have the following experience: Degree-level education or formal recognised sales training Commercially minded with an analytic, solutions-driven approach Self-motivated, driven and a relentless relationship builder Personable with outstanding verbal & written communication skills Techincal knowledge of Durasteel products and projects Why apply for the Technical Sales Manager Role: You will be working for a modern, forward thinking business; that believe the strengths, skills and personalities of their people are the key to the groups success.
