A fantastic opportunity has arisen for the position of Full-Stack Web Developer within HarvestEye Limited, an Agri-Tech company recently established to deliver innovative solutions for the fresh produce industry. HarvestEye are searching for a talented individual who is confident with both front-end and back-end web development to join their team based at the Science and Innovation Park in Lincoln. You'll be responsible for developing further and maintaining HarvestEye Insight; working with the insight team to design and implement new features and improvements to the portal. The role will report to the Insight Team Leader and have the following responsibilities: Take ownership of project components and implement the best tools, practices, and techniques Maintain and develop the front-end website architecture and application for data analysis Maintain and develop the back-end system, database, and applications Ensure responsiveness of the application Create security and data protection settings Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software Ideally, we're looking for someone who has experience working as a full-stack developer, or in a similar role, and you'll be proficient with fundamental front and back-end tools and languages; HTML, CSS and Typescript, Java, Python and Django. You'll know MySQL and have experience with AWS tools and services. We're looking for the successful candidate to also provide excellent organisational and product management skills. You'll be a problem-solver and be a great communicator. It would be even better if you have knowledge of MySQL Workbench, Spring Batch for Java, Git, D3 Javascript library, postman and docker - but these aren't essential.
