The role is multi-disciplined but principally accounts based. You will be required to maintain our client and office accounts using a combination of SageL50 and the firm’s dedicated property management software – CFP, from which you will receipt rents and pay landlords. You will also need to be proficient in Sage Payroll and be able to prepare VAT returns. You must be competent in reconciling accounts, data entry, payment processing and understanding accounting processes.
You will provide close support to the commercial property team where you will be responsible for raising rent and service charge demands, receipting rents and ensuring tenants pay in a timely manner. You will become involved with a number of property management matters on both the commercial and residential side of the business.
It is vital that you are extremely confident in the use of various computer software packages, particularly Sage and Microsoft Office. It is an advantage if you are familiar with a property management program.
You will need to be very well organised, conscientious and capable of dealing with a wide range of matters relating to accounts and be willing to assist in a variety of property management support roles.
