An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Plumber to work on behalf of our client Gov Facility Services Ltd. This can be a challenging environment however due to the high demand of work this could be a long term opportunity for the correct candidate. This will be a static role based onsite at HMP Highpoint - Suffolk Both temporary and permanent candidates working for our client have been identified as key workers during the Covid-19 pandemic, due to the critical work that they undertake to maintain the prison estate The stability and security that they can offer is now more relevant than ever. You will be part of the maintenance team responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding and repair to all building services. For this role it is essential you meet the following criteria: - Qualified: City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering -Ability to maintain and repair a range of mechanical equipment, e.g. fans, pumps and compressors. - Changing sanitary ware and general repairs to showers etc - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to be security conscious Suitable candidate will be in or will have the relevant experience of plumbing maintenance in a commercial environment, along with NVQ Level 2 which is essential for the role. To be able to work with our client, you must be able to pass the standard security vetting process for the establishment. This will include a criminal records check (Standard DBS).
