Finance Director - Park Home Operator

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a growing park home operator as an experienced Finance Director The successful candidate will be working broadly across the organisation partnering with the group's MD's to help tie together a view of the finances in order to inform and create strategy as the group expands. Alongside this, you will be heavily involved with the service delivery and performance - ensuring that the operations of the businesses key financial controls are ran efficiently. Your key duties will involve:
• Preparation of quarterly management for the bank for 6 Companies
• Preparation of reports for the bank including detailed debtors and creditors, consolidated balance sheet and inter Company loans matrix.
• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns for submission to the accountants to check, an understanding of partial exemption would be useful but not crucial as training could be given
• Preparation of year end accounts packs to submit to the Company accountants
• Review of rentals received from residents on a monthly basis and potentially dealing with queries thereon. There will be a number of other tasks on a day to day basis which dovetail with the above, this will evolve as the job grows, which we expect it to. The records are kept on XERO where the parks are VAT registered and Excel where they are not, a knowledge of XERO is considered crucial. This successful business is looking to grow and more acquisitions will be made as and when they become available and are considered to be ripe for expansion, as I also mentioned any potential will need to have the ability to stand up for themselves, there are a number of strong characters in the office (Which is based in Chesterton, Cambridge) so an ability to stand their ground will be needed, shrinking violets need not apply The Companies operate under a holding Company and they will be the ultimate employer.
