Senior Enterprise / Solution Architect - Data Analytics Location: Nottingham (2-3 days remote working) Salary/Benefits: Up to £100k 20% bonus flexibility This is going to be short & punchy - because it's pretty straightforward. The Analytics arm of the business is looking for someone to work alongside the Technical Development Director to manage the solutions estate. Beyond being an actual proven Senior Solutions / Enterprise Architect, you'll ideally have experience with stuff like Quantitative Analytics (OLAP vs. OLTP, batch vs. low latency, streaming etc), Network architecture, Public Cloud (AWS preferably), knowledge of Big Data technologies and finally, any experience Ai / Machine Learning (R, Python) would be a distinct advantage. Speaking to the hiring manager, the right kind of person could come from an environment of working with huge data sets where clever analytics were needed, so industries like finance and retail industry, for example... So, if you have the experience; what's in it for you? ... You'd be working for one of the top names in the global analytics market, which is now gearing up to launch on the London stock exchange, and you'd be the person at the centre of it all as it's the most prized and important arm of the entire business - so in short, you'd have bragging rights :) Often times at this level in your career it can be difficult to find longevity so you'd have to shuttle around different businesses - that isn't an issue here, you have lots of 'rungs on the ladder' still to climb... What d'you think so far? The nuts and bolts of the role will be explained in the job spec which I'll send out if interested so there's lots still to talk about the company and role etc but if you like gist so far, shoot across your CV and I'll be happy to run through things and answer all your questions.
