We currently have an opportunity for a Learning & Development Specialist to join our team on a fixed term basis to cover maternity leave. Our team is currently working remotely, so the successful candidate will be working from home and once safe to do so will be working between home and our Nottingham - NG2 office. You will be responsible for: Delivering an innovative learning & development approach in line with Staffline Recruitment's business goals and overall learning strategies Managing the creation of a consistent portfolio of digital and face to face learning interventions, tools and support materials, based on the needs of the business Developing a defined set of quality standards for the design of learning materials, supporting the L&D team in engaging the business to align to these standards Driving usage of the learning Experience Platform by sourcing and creating digital content Promoting learning opportunities within the business through various internal marketing channels and direct communication with leadership teams and employees Designing and delivering front line management / leadership development programmes Helping to identify key talent and supporting the Head of L&D and People Director with the organisation's talent management tools and processes Who are we looking for? The successful Learning and Development Specialist will have experience of working at a strategic level, combined with a successful track record of delivering development and learning to individuals at a variety of levels, including: Experience in a Learning & Development / Instructional design role, ideally in a corporate learning environment. Degree level qualification and ideally holding or working towards an L&D specific qualification Experience of eLearning design software (e.g. Articulate, Storyline). Experience of designing learning solutions in multiple media formats (workshops, coaching, video, eLearning, micro-learning etc). Partnering with stakeholders to drive added value learning and development solutions Experience of working with apprenticeships and the associated levy Ability to robustly challenge the status quo Strong stakeholder management experience Project management skills Strong written and verbal communicator and influencing skills Virtual facilitation skills Staffline are an equal opportunities employer, which means we treat people fairly.
