It's an incredibly exciting time to join our team Job Overview This role will help shape our multi site operation, you will have a direct impact on the production facility by planning the movement of stock around the Gousto network to ensure each facility has the correct materials to maximise production capacity. The goal of our department is to provide best-in-class service by having the correct materials at the correct location at the correct time, ensuring all customer orders are OTIF (On Time In Full). This is a role where you will make a tangible difference to Gousto, working alongside our experienced Logistics team and Supply Chain team to deliver the best possible customer experience. What you'll do Monitor and manage day to day multi site transfers and collections. Ensure a smooth booking process for all required transport whilst highlighting and actively seeking opportunities to reduce costs. Troubleshooting supply chain and logistics issues, which could have an operational impact. Escalating to the appropriate team as required. Raising Purchase Orders and dealing with any associated payment and invoice queries. Regular contact both by phone and face to face with logistics partners. Own the transfer tool and be the responsible person for raising transfer orders to ensure the right material is at the right site at the right time. Liaise with the planning department to raise any potential material shortages Be a multi skilled team member to provide holiday support to other members of the team as required Actively seek ways to improve supply chain and logistics processes to improve efficiency, remove waste and deliver potential cost improvements Skills/Qualifications required Experience working in an operational environment; Supply chain and/or Logistics experience beneficial. Strong Excel skills A strong ability to multi task in a fast paced, evolving environment Strong and clear communication skills Natural problem solving skills (and a desire to identify the problems before they happen) An interest in the food industry - particularly distribution Experience in dealing with 3PLs A strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Our Culture You're a confident self-starter, able to juggle multiple projects in a dynamic, exciting and entrepreneurial environment.
