Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning Engineer Location : You will be permanently working from HMP Bure, NR10 5GB Salary : £36K - £39K per annum Contract : Full time, Permanent We are Gov Facility Service Ltd, a non-profit company owned entirely by the Ministry of Justice, supplying facilities management services to 50 prisons over the South and East of the UK with an employee count of 1400. We are looking for a Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning Engineer to assume responsibility for: The maintenance, installation and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems within the prison estate in line with the sites maintenance requirements Taking accountability for general reactive maintenance within the prison estate in line with the sites long term goals and objectives The maintenance, installation and repair of electrical systems within the prison estate in line with the sites maintenance requirements Taking accountability for general reactive maintenance within the prison estate in line with the sites long term goals and objectives To fault find and ensure satisfactory fault rectification maintaining site services levels at all times To take accountability for reactive maintenance within the prison estate in line with the sites long term goals and objectives To comply with all Health and Safety policies, procedures and legislation to ensure statutory and mandatory compliance To positively contribute to the building and development of a culture of excellent customer service, establishing and maintaining an excellent working relationship with the client You must be able to demonstrate the following Qualifications and Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience of working in a role as a HVAC Engineer, or a refrigeration engineer in a multi-skilled role. C&G 6187 - Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. and NVQ level 3 Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent. C&G 2079 - Refrigerant Handling. C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent. Must have a certificate in BS7671 - The Requirements For Electrical Installations, 17th or 18th Edition. You will need to meet our stringent vetting requirements and satisfy pre-employment checks.
