Programme Tutor - Business & Professional West Suffolk College, Bury St Edmunds 37 hours per week, Fixed Term until 07/01/2022 Salary: £23,679 - £28,048 depending on experience An exciting opportunity has become available to join our expanding team as a Programme Tutor in our Business and Professional team You will be highly motivated, have excellent organisational skills with the enthusiasm to drive learners to achieve their full potential. Experience of delivering learning would be advantageous Role Responsibilities You will manage an agreed caseload of students undertaking various programmes of learning and facilitate learning specifically to Apprentices (both at their place of work and at the College), ensuring that in conjunction with their employer they are fully prepared for the End Point Assessment element of their programme. You will be required to travel to local and regional employers where our Apprentices are located. You will ensure that learners are fully engaged in their programme and ensure that employers partake in the process and are kept up to date with their learner's progress. Predominantly, you will be required to facilitate learning in Business Administration level 3, Customer Service level 2 and 3 and Team Leading level 3 with the view to expand into other areas of delivery, depending on your individual skill set. You will also be supporting learners with their Maths and English. You will be required to keep accurate records of all the learner achievements and undertake regular reviews of learner's progress with each employer. Required qualifications, skills and experience Essential: Relevant recent industry experience Basic levels of Maths, English and ICT skills Ability to motivate and inspire learners throughout their Apprenticeship Strong attention to detail Effective time management skills Self-motivated with the courage to challenge various stakeholders appropriately Desirable: A relevant professional qualification at Level 3 or above Assessor Award and Internal Verifiers award or a willingness to achieve the qualification within 3 months of taking up the post.
