Warehouse Manager

I am delighted to be supporting my client in their search for a Warehouse Manager. We are looking for someone experienced in managing a warehouse (ideally at least 3 years' experience) managing to at least 10 staff with a large turn-over for a brilliant business. The business provides products to clients worldwide so any e-commerce experience would be highly beneficial. You will be responsible for all aspects of Warehousing & Logistics. Managing all functions of a busy E commerce Warehouse, ensuring KPI's and service levels are met and surpassed. Leading a close team through a period of huge growth in the next few years you will need to have experience of managing a rapidly growing team and workload. You will be required to be highly professional, efficient, well-organised and a clear leader, whilst personable with the warehouse team and all key contacts, internally and externally. Key Duties: Ensuring that the day-to-day operation consistently meets the requirements of the business, in terms of service to customers as well meeting the budgetary and financial goals of the business Meeting and surpassing operational KPI's and service metrics Management of all aspects of the warehouse including but not limited to Goods in, Inventory, Picking, Packing, Returns & Despatch. Responsible for inventory, PI, stock accuracy etc. Challenge existing processes, providing input on continual improvements which increase capacity and improve efficiency. Process driven, with the ability to manage staff productivity and performance. The ability to generate Management reports providing clear and concise information. Lead, Manage, Coach, and Develop existing Warehouse team. Resource Planning, creating a workforce with the ability to flex resource to the needs of the business. Responsible for the Management of the Health & Safety of the warehouse, developing a culture of safety and security awareness within the operation. Maintain all warehouse operational standards and processes and ensures all team members follow procedures to improve efficiency. Managing and initiating specific improvement projects Managing all external relationships with third party partners, Carriers, packaging suppliers etc conducting periodic reviews of service, costs etc. Promote and support Covid-19 required measures in line with government guidelines. Adhoc duties as and when required.
