Job Overview: We have been retained by our client: a successful and dynamic injection moulding company, to look for a Toolmaker to support their continued growth. Role: As a Toolmaker you will be responsible for the production, maintenance, service and repair of injection mould tools on site As a Toolmaker you will be fully versatile with experience of working on manual centre lathes, milling machines, surface grinding and universal grinding machines This is an exciting position for a Toolmaker who is keen to join a stable and successful company where they can learn and develop their skills further Social distance working conditions are in place throughout the plant Responsibilities: Build, repair and maintain tooling Work to fine tolerances Prove tooling and troubleshoot until running acceptably - target to enable the tools to run "right first-time" in a production environment Able to understand technical drawings. Liaise with operational staff to understand tooling related issues Maintenance of machinery on site. General tool making tasks To be flexible in a "breakdown" scenario.
