THE CHEQUERS INN - ELSTON Located just off the A46, 10 minutes from Newark is The Chequers Inn at Elston, a traditional village pub that has just undergone a transformational refurbishment. With a dramatically redesigned interior, incorporating an 80 cover restaurant, The Chequers Inn is aiming to set new standards of service in the delivery of high-quality food and drink. We are looking to recruit a Sous Chef who has a passion for food and can demonstrate experience in a high-volume environment using good quality fresh ingredients. You will deputise in the absence of the Head Chef and be confident in mentoring junior members of the team. You will also play an active role in the creation of seasonal menus.
