Residential Childcare Worker

Job Paths 4 U are recruiting on behalf of an independent foundation that provides residential care for Children and Young People. We are recruiting for a Residential Childcare Worker based in Fledborough, Nottinghamshire who is passionate about improving the lives and outcomes for children and young people. As a Childcare Worker, you will be encouraging life skills and help young people to develop their social skills through play and education, whilst having fun. You will be working for a company who pride themselves in providing children and young people with exciting opportunities and an outstanding environment to live in. Responsibilities of a Residential Childcare Worker include: Provide a safe environment and support for young people Assist in the educational, social, emotional and behavioural development of children/young people under the direction and guidance of the Caldecott Foundation's Management and support Support, monitor and evaluate the children/young people's emotional and behavioural difficulties and help develop their social skills To maintain and produce required records and reports as necessary To undertake training and utilise learning within the home To act as a key worker/link worker for individual children Where applicable, to attend to and contribute to any review, case conference and planning meeting as necessary Requirements for this role as a Residential Childcare Worker role: § Have completed or be capable of completing all mandatory training, including Positive Management of Challenging Behaviour § Willingness to complete the Diploma Level 3 Children and young people's workforce § A good standard of educational achievement and the ability to produce clear written reports § Experience of working with children in any care or school setting Benefits of this role include: Accredited training including a Diploma Actively encourage career progression to enable staff to reach their full potential Offer a range of routes to progress your career including management and leadership, social work, education and therapy roles Workshop Programmes provided 5% Pension Scheme 30 days holiday including bank holidays Salary: £18,453 - £20,858 £32.94 per sleep in Working 39 hours per week Contact: Adam at Job Paths 4 U Check out our Website for all of our current vacancies This job was originally posted as
