Following the retirement of the incumbent Examinations Officer after 16 years’ service to our school, we are looking to recruit a highly motivated and committed individual to become the school’s Examinations Officer, to oversee all aspects of examinations management within the school.
The successful applicant will have good administrative skills, computer literacy and be highly efficient and organised. They will be articulate and able to deal sensitively with a variety of situations with teachers, examination invigilators, pupils, parents and examination board representatives. The ability to be clear and assertive whilst remaining calm, composed, tactful and flexible is essential.

This post is term time only, plus it is expected that the post holder will be available to work during part of the school summer holidays, particularly in August, in order to process examination results when they come in.
We were graded Outstanding in every category by Ofsted in March 2017.
Educating approximately 1200 students, The Bishop’s Stortford High School provides a single-sex education for boys in Years 7 to 11 and has a large, thriving co-educational sixth form, with over one hundred girls on roll.
