Job Description:
• Enforce and Adhere to Standards, Principles, Best Practices, Frameworks and Tooling.
• Ensure multiple lines of defense to secure product engineering excellence within the team.
• Advocate of best practice in Software Quality Assurance (by design and process) and Quality Control (by validation) methodologies within the team.
• Ensure that best practices are followed by the team and aim to improve skillset in Quality across all team members.
• Ensure that the team's deliverables have adequate test coverage (functional and non-functional) to ensure acceptable risk in use
• Certify and enforce that stories and epics are truly done in terms of all quality aspects of the definition of done
• Oversee that the various Quality activities are taking place within the Scrum team: o Creating automated test cases for new features and defects fixed o Running of the automated test suite o Triaging of results o Capturing defects o Leading root cause analysis and execute defect prevention improvement within the team
• Oversee that all the team members are participating in Quality activities, and to support them.
• Contribute to the Quality Report(s) for the Group's deliverables in respect of the team's contributions
• Drive test automation within the Team (as a whole-team approach, in conjunction with the Team lead and Team PO)
• Drive continual improvement around quality metrics, including proof of concepts to evaluate technologies/tools/process, testing strategy within the team.
• Provide the necessary in-house training for testing tools, Methodologies, QA process and procedures for the team.
• Support professional development.
