My client one of the world's most exciting engineering company's is recruiting for a Project Purchaser to join their HQ in Nottingham. Job Title: Project Purchaser Location: Nottingham Salary: Negotiable Type: Permanent Hours: Monday - Friday Role Responsibilities: Strategic responsibility for sourcing and managing new suppliers. Liaise with project manager on a regular basis. Take lead on developing long lasting supplier relationships. Continuously look for new ways to source parts. Manage new projects and deliver on time and within budget. Work closely with the Head of Purchasing. Role requirements: IT literate and proficient in all Microsoft applications especially Excel, Powerpoint and Project. Good communication skills both verbally and written. The ability to talk to all members of the business such as Senior management, Engineers and office staff. A good understanding of TCO and financial impacts of projects on the wider business. Proven track record of project management and delivering on time and budget. A good commercial understanding along with good negotiation skills. Ability to work as part of a team as well as individually.
