Are you an experienced and dynamic multi site Registered Manager? We have a new opportunity to oversee 4 Supported Living services, Bury St Edmunds, Sudbury, Halstead and Newmarket. We are supporting 18 individuals with mental health, complex and challenging behaviours and a team of 40/50 colleagues. THE MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB To take the Registered Managers responsibility for a group of services under the direction of the Area Manager To ensure all aspects of the services meet with the Health and Social Care act 2014 and the requirements of CQC, together with all other relative legislative requirements. To provide a need led service to adults with learning disabilityby adopting a person centred approach that fosters self-awareness, personal growth and gives each person the strongest voice with regards to decision making and lifestyle changes. EXPERIENCE 4 years recent and significant experience of working with adults with Learning Disabilities, managing an effective team, managing budgets, experience of autism, experience of delivery and undertaking training QUALIFICATIONS: Diploma 5 Health and Social Care KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Managing staff performance including Supervision and Annual Appraisals. Conditions relevant to people with learning disabilities Relevant legislation e.g. valuing people,mental capacity act, deprivation of liberty, Health&Safety. Ability to communicate to a range of people using different communicationmethods. Ability to write reports. Ability to chair meetings. IT literate on all Microsoft Applications. Experience of auditing services. Health issues in relation to people with LearningDisabilities.
