Job description: Senior Brand Manager - Loyd Grossman Based in St Albans 10 Month FTC An exciting role for a creative and innovation-oriented marketer with good commercial awareness. You will have an opportunity to leave your mark on the future of one of the most iconic cooking sauce brands - Loyd Grossman. Our sauces are a true embodiment of Loyd's passion for food and are designed to make day-to-day food experience more pleasurable. Now the brand is approaching a new phase of development. The brand team is aiming to transform the biggest cuisine in the category (Italian), by modernising Italian cooking sauces and as well as improving consumer experience. We are looking for an experienced independent marketer who will lead this transformation. In this role you will: Help us defining what modern Italian meals means for Cooking Sauces Develop winning concepts that excite consumers Translate concepts into great packaging and product execution Manage cross-functional teams to ensure timely launch and perfect launch execution As you are working on creating new foundations for Loyd Grossman, you will also need to keep a close eye on day-to-day business performance, to ensure we continue winning in the market place and deliver P&L targets. As the role assumes high level stakeholder management (including the Brand Owner), we expect a great candidate to have strong people management and presentation skills. In this role you will be a part of a talented Cooking Sauces team (includes Sharwood's, Loyd Grossman and Homepride brands) and work closely with R&D, Commercial, Insight & Innovation teams and have regular exposure to the UK Grocery Leadership team and the Brand Owner. What you will be doing: Accountable for the delivery of agreed profit, turnover, share and innovation targets for Loyd Grossman in the UK- full P&L responsibility Lead development of the 3 year Brand Strategy and Annual Plan Contribute to the development of the Brand Innovation Strategy and plan (led by Innovation Manager) Lead development and commercialisation of Innovation projects to create long term value Manage development and execution (to time) the Brand Annual Plan and Budget Work effectively with all functions and Leadership team to drive key decisions and execution across the business Ongoing business analysis and search for opportunities to drive growth Timely status updates for the Brand Owner What we need from you: Min 4 years branded marketing management in commercially aware FMCG environment Proven track-record of innovation development, commercialisation and in market launch Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong project management, leadership and stakeholder management skills Result-oriented, self-motivated individual with a positive mind-set Hungry for winning and personal development What we offer you in return: Competitive salary Car allowance Bonus Up to 7.5% pension Private medical insurance Life assurance Wide range of online and in-house training Access to an employee discount scheme, with access to hundreds of nationwide retailers
