Care Coordinator

We're looking for a Care Coordinator to work for our client. They are a domiciliary care provider, based in Peterborough who cover 800 hours of care a week, employ 45 carers and service over 80 clients. If you can demonstrate experience of working within a domiciliary or homecare setting then you could be perfect for our client and we'd love to see your CV. Please note: In this position you'll be required to work some weekends, and occasionally some unsociable hours. Full details of how this will work will be revealed at interview. Responsibilities: - Coordinating the weekly care rota's and ensuring all care is delivered each week - Updating the care system - Speaking to carers and service users - Evaluating and responding to referrals from local authorities - Dealing with emergency situations, including sickness and where absolutely essential attending care visits - Working with the Senior Carers to organise spot checks Requirements: - Experience of working within a domiciliary or homecare setting - Additional experience of either coordinating care hours or working as a Care Supervisor in the field - Further experience of dealing with local authorities - A NVQ level 2 in care or prepared to work towards it - You will need to be organised - Someone who can naturally empathise with carers and service users - A full driving licence is essential for this role The Package: - Basic salary: £21,000 - £23,000 per annum depending on experience - On-call payments: £3,500 per annum - Additional benefits include: 28 days holiday Pension Full training The standard working hours for this position are Monday to Friday 9:00 to 5:00 you will be on the on-call rota 1 week in 4.
