And that will be your job So what will you be doing? You'll be delivering best practice sourcing processes & negotiating the best overall commercial & operational arrangements for our Supply Chain and Central Operations. You'll lead your team effectively and positively in order to provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders, key suppliers and distributors whilst maintaining optimum fulfillment rates and striving to reduce spare parts cost. As part of this role you'll be responsible for: Supporting the delivery of a "best in class" procurement function, reflective of FTSE 250 business, helping to drive our Purchasing department performance and productivity standards ensuring customer satisfaction and operational metrics fulfilment in accordance with overall business strategy, requirements, and supply market dynamics Leading and supporting with the negotiation of commercial and operational arrangements for Dixons Carphone whilst ensuring the lowest total cost of ownership and continuously driving process improvements and cost efficiencies Ensuring correct purchasing practice implementation in accordance to ISO 9001 standards and accreditation requirements with OEMs
• Managing a team; creating a supportive, engaging and high-performance environment in addition to establishing strong relationships and alignment between our Repair Operation, Support functions and suppliers (If appropriate) completion of the Level 3 Apprenticeship in Team Leadership and initiatives as part of our development path You will need: Strong understanding of procurement best practice An understanding of people management with a proven ability to lead and engage a team The ability to influence at a senior level, including strong negotiation skills and the ability to use analytical thinking to adapt to changing situations CIPS (desirable) or NVQ in Supply Chain Management or equivalent We win together as one team and we celebrate all of the great things you do.
