Position - Children's Support Worker (Nights) Location - Meldreth, Nr Royston Salary - £21,256 to £23,440 per annum depending on experience and qualifications Hours - On average 40 hours per week. 4 week rota pattern of 16 shifts a month (8:45pm to 8:15am-waking nights) About the Service - This service is a children's home and school that supports 6-19 year olds with complex learning difficulties. The service provides care and education to service users along with therapeutic support. The service hosts specialist facilities which are designed to help the young people who have multiple disabilities (which includes sensory and physical impairments). The aim of the service is to enrich the lives of the service users and help them to reach their full potential. They are also willing to fund your Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care if you do not already have this qualification. Duties- This role will involve working night shifts and providing top quality care to the children and young adults there. Duties will include: getting the children and young adults ready for bed, washing, helping them achieve a healthy sleeping pattern, checking them through the night, etc. You will also assist with getting the children and young adults up in the morning.
