PMO Lead / Sector Deployment Royston, Hertfordshire Permanent Circa. £55-70K base salary bonus pension benefits Circa. £75-90K package Johnson Matthey are actively seeking a PMO Lead / Sector Deployment to be based in our Royston Office on a permanent basis. Role: Unify is a multi-year programme to implement Global ERP into Johnson Matthey globally with the aim to provide a foundation for business harmonisation and growth . The Sector PMO Lead takes overall responsibility for the Programme PMO processes into the Sector Deployment. They will work closely with the Sector Delivery Manager and teams to ensure Unify Programme Management standards are followed. Candidates must have previous experience in a PMO role within an ERP implementation. Key responsibilities : Follow the established project management standards, processes, and controls for the running of a country deployment within the programme. This should cover, but is not limited to: define and maintain the integrated project plan in conjunction with the Sector Delivery Manager risk and issue management management of inter-dependencies within the programme and the broader organisation change control for scope, resources, budget, etc. project status reporting, including financials management of project documentation, in line with existing JM policies and tools tracking and closure of audit actions and liaison with internal and external audit teams assurance of adherence to governance processes Provide the necessary templates for gathering of data/information and collate the content to provide consistent reporting across the Unify programme. Provide support for project communications and ensure consistency of content Support the Programme Leadership Teams and Sector Delivery Manager with: Organisation and facilitation of meetings, workshops, and assurance checkpoints Meeting minutes and follow up on actions Be familiar with implementation dependencies so he/she can complement actions/communication plans Management and maintenance of project support tools and methods Provide project and programme management advice, guidance and support Manage resource demand and control processes, including on and off boarding, availability tracking and internal communications. Promote a culture of continuous improvement of the PMO functions and services to enable and enhance the capability of the project workforce to achieve the project's objectives. Manage the performance and development of direct reports. Conduct reviews in line with the Group Performance Management process. Assist the Deployment Project Manager in ensuring adherence to the governance policies and procedures. Project Quality Ensure that delivery into the deployment country meets the quality standards defined. Provide detailed reports on progress, status for meetings as schedule by the programme governance. Utilise the deployment and PMO toolkit to ensure standardisation and consistency in deployment. Adheres to and enforces quality assurance processes within deployment teams. Co-ordination and Continuous Improvement Implement and monitor mechanisms for knowledge transfer and experience sharing within the team and the business. Provide guidance and direction to the core and deployment resources throughout the transformation journey. Operate as a key link between the core teams and the deployment teams and the core Unify Leadership Team. Ensure consistency of communications and alignment with the Core and other Regional Unify teams. Develop and foster a culture of continuous improvement To take on any other duties which are within the employee's skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed. Are you the ideal candidate?
