You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £22,062 - £31,352 per annum . Our Community Response Officer (Digital) role: Do you want to work as part of a passionate and forward thinking team, working collaboratively with departments across our organisation? Here at the Coal Authority we have a fantastic opportunity to join our Community Response team. You'll work closely with our operational teams across the organisation to warn, inform and engage with local communities, partners, stakeholders and customers. Responsibilities of our Community Response Officer (Digital): - Work as part of the community response team to handle and respond to reactive media enquiries ensuring timely and quality responses - Support the effective delivery of community response activities with key stakeholders and opinion formers including staff, local communities, MPs, partner organisations, and local authorities - Work collaboratively with teams from other public sector bodies and central government departments - such as the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, Geospatial Commission and DEFRA - to clearly communicate to local communities and stakeholders - Lead on coordinating community and engagement events for your internal clients, together with event attendance and delivery of content, visuals and event equipment - Seek out and create opportunities to engage with our audiences about the work that we are doing across England, Scotland and Wales through our digital channels - Use your experience and knowledge to influence and further develop the Coal Authority's social media narrative, ensuring that we are anticipating, aware of and responding to social media trends and developments What we're looking for in our Community Response Officer (Digital): - Proven experience of creating content to reach target audiences via a variety of internal and external channels - Experience of creating impact through publishing digital content and measuring its effectiveness - Experience of handling reactive media enquiries and working with teams to ensure a timely and quality response - Experience of creating content for different digital channels experience of using analytics or evaluation tools to monitor the effectiveness of digital engagement.
