Annual leave starting at 24 days Excellent career progression opportunities within the Staffline Group Life Insurance and Pension Scheme The Software Developer Role As a Software developer, you will be working on back end solutions like Web APIs, integrations and implementing changes to our chatbot. Designing and implementing new software programs Integrating software components and third-party programs (backend developer) Recommending and executing improvements Troubleshooting, debugging and upgrading existing software Creating technical level documentation Modifying existing software to fix errors or improve quality Working as part of SCRUM team and providing regular updates Who are we looking for? You will be passionate about technology, always seeking areas of improvement, whilst being focused on providing a quality product C# Test Driven Development (using NUnit and Moq) .NET Core (3.0 or higher) Microsoft Azure (including Function Apps, Application Insights, Table Storage, App Services, Azure SQL). SQL (including ability to troubleshoot performance issues with queries) Web API/Web Service, REST and JSON Continuous Development and Deployment processes Familiar with Azure DevOps sprint management, boards, pipelines, releases, artifacts, and source control (GIT) Automated testing processes (with good analysing skills to find and solve problems) Team player with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills Product and quality focused person Although not essential, the ideal candidate will also have: Understanding of Entity Framework Practice in creating reports using SSRS HTML, CSS and JavaScript ES6 exposure would be an advantage Understands SCRUM development lifecycle Understanding of dependency injection Understanding of SSH would be an advantage Experience with Landbot or any other chat bot service An example of a project you have worked outside of work (maybe an online GIT Repository) Staffline are an equal opportunities employer, which means we treat people fairly.
