Night Support Worker - Children and Young people

You will be responsible for supporting our residents, we work with each child to provide them with individual and specific goals, whether that be education, care plans or helping them integrate with the wider world (through activities or trips out and about). A huge part of what you'll do is be a friend to them; you'll be someone that listens and genuinely cares . As a night worker you'll help the people get ready for bed, check on them and keep records of things that happen during the nights, encourage healthy sleeping patterns. You'll also be able to expected to housework during the night. You'll build strong relationships with our residents so you'll have a good sense of humour , patience, dedication and most importantly you care Of course, you'll be independent, honest and determined to set a good example. As much as you'll help us look after our residents, we'll look after you . We have a generous benefits package available to all of our staff and we're actively looking to develop people. What we need from you: - Strong leadership skills - Drive to help improve the lives of people - Desire to develop and learn new skills - Strong communication skills - The ability to be a great role model - Driver (preferable but not essential) Shifts, Hours & Benefits: - Full time - 4 Week rota - Weekend shifts - Night Supplement - Salary £22816 - £25000 - 30 days holiday (including bank holidays) - In-house funded qualification programmes - Pension - Benefits package Including high-street discounts & reduced mobile phone contracts.
