Do you have what it takes to be an inspiring Support Worker? An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, confident, motivated and committed individual to join our team as a Support Worker based in Chatteris. This is a full time role with a competitive hourly rate of £9.36 per hour. We take the safety of our colleagues seriously and operate a Covid secure environment complemented by comprehensive risk assessments and emotional support for our teams of key workers. Our teams are provided with full PPE and are eligible for immediate vaccination. All interviews are held remotely via "Zoom" or "Teams" Join our small, friendly team who care and support 6 adults with physical and mental health needs, supporting their daily living skills to enable them to live independently and achieve their life goals with 1-1 support in community activities. We provide training to support you to achieve the highest level of care support . So if you're caring, resilient and passionate our training and extensive induction will give you all the practical skills you need. What we are looking for in our Support Worker: - Experience of supporting adults with a learning disability, autism and mental health - Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of a 24/7 rota (Shifts are from07:00 to 14:30 and 14:30 to 22:00 followed by a sleep-in from 22:00 to 07:00) - Good written and verbal communication skills, ensuring that you are easily understood - Empathetic and good team player - Committed to continually improving the quality of life and choices for our customers - Proven ability to promote and encourage personal independence and development of life skills, such as preparing meals and domestic duties - Over the age of 18 - Full driving licence with Class 1 Business Insurance As a valued employee you will receive the following benefits: - £9.36 per hour - 28 days annual leave - 25% bank holiday enhancement - Double Time Xmas day, Boxing day and NY day - Paid training and shadow shifts - Paid DBS - Paid for Care Certificate and other professional qualifications - Career progression routes - Up to £300 refer a friend - Organisational sick pay - Employee and Family Wellbeing programme - Full PPE provided - Immediate COVID vaccination available for Front Line colleagues - Cycle to Work scheme This role is subject to DBS checks as part of the recruitment process.
