Senior Support Worker

JOB DESCRIPTION As a Senior Support worker at Hatzfeld Care Ltd, you are entrusted and required to ensure that the highest standard of quality care is provided to all service users residing at the home. Carry out your role adhering to Hatzfeld Care policies, procedures, values, code of conduct and with a Person-Centred approach. Maintain an inclusive environment free from any forms of abuse, utilising all safeguarding guidance to support all individuals and staff. Uphold all infection control policies and procedures ensuring that a safe environment is maintained. Ensure that the provision of Care is Effective and comprehensive support is provided to a range of service users with complex needs in a Safe and Responsive manner. Plan for and direct staff to assist with personal care and domestic hygiene tasks, ensuring this is provided in a person centred way. Promote the development of support workers through maintaining specialisms, sharing good practice and expertise. Promote and facilitate service user engagement and inclusion within the home environment and the community in line with Hatzfeld Care objectives. Provide leadership and carry out management activities (including resourcing, day to day advice, supervision and support) to enable the staff team to meet their own objectives and contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the home. Ensure accurate records are maintained and accounts of all activities are captured appropriately as required. Attend meetings and appointments with service users, representing Hatzfeld Care (Lincoln) Limited and the service user in an appropriate, professional manner. To observe all Health and Safety rules and take reasonable care to promote Health & safety of self and others. DESIRABLE -Experience of leading teams care workers within the care profession. -Experience working with people who have mental health conditions.
