Senior Mechanical Engineer - Product Handling Systems Working as a Mechanical Design Engineer on a multitude of new projects you will join a company who are the world leaders in a thriving and specialised market. Their dominance as well as a high demand has led to them winning multiple new business opportunities working with a range of clients across the world. In this senior position you will take full ownership of Product handling across the business and you will have influence on a global scale being the specialist in everything Product Handling . Working in a team made up of design and project engineers you will work closely to deliverer innovative solutions on a range of bespoke hi-tech automated electro-mechanical product handling machinery. You will get the chance to explore new technology as well as modifying existing products for clients as they offer tailored solutions to meet customers ever changing needs. This will require someone who is creative and enjoys finding solutions to complex problems through design. It will be fundamental that you have experience with product handling systems , and you will be the technical authority taking ownership of that area. Experience with conveyor systems and special purpose machinery will also be key. Your experience can be from a range of industries, it could be in the food industry, pharmaceutical industry or anything that uses similar Product handling systems. This position has a lot of growth potential within the organisation, they have recently invested in a brand-new state of the art facility to keep up with their double-digit growth. Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements: Experience of working on the design of electro-mechanical machinery. Ideally with an appreciation of pneumatics systems, conveyors or product handling systems. A formal mechanical engineering qualification. A creative approach with exposure to New Product Development from concept through to production.
