Network Support Manager

Network Support Manager required by my large client. Due to an internal promotion my client is need of an experienced Network Support Manager. The job holder will be responsible for the management, support and efficient running of the following Network Support team identified on the department organisation chart. The details of an individual teams' objectives and responsibilities will be communicated to the Manager by the Network Services Manager. The team provides support in their respective areas, with the requirement to work closely with the other teams to ensure efficient use of resources and to maintain or improve the required level of service. The job holder will be responsible for the day to day run, implementation and installation run of the companies Communications Network, This includes all Communications Services, encompassing LAN, WAN, Internet, Voice & Wireless infrastructures across all Group sites and 3rd party managed services that deliver these services for us. The work is split across into two key functions (Support and Solution Deployment). The team provides support for the Group DC's Infrastructure and support for all the branches across the group (circa 1450), there is also a requirement to work closely with other GTS teams to ensure efficient use of resource. My client is looking for someone that has solid experience of running the Network Support team ideally within a large multi-site retail business. Ideally the right person will have worked their way through from Network Support technical roles along with CISCO official certifications. Though the certifications would be preferred, they are not essential. The client wants an extremely good team manager. They are extremely flexible with working from the office or from home.
