BetterManagers. Role Details Our client has an exciting new vacancy for an Information Security Analyst to support our client's growing technology team. The Information Security Analyst is required to facilitate the safeguarding of all information systems & data from unauthorised access, modification or destruction in support of our infrastructure, network, endpoint, web and cloud environments. Objectives: Investigate & document security related incidents through the adoption of CMI's incident management process. Deploy and maintain local and remote security measures to protect CMI information systems and infrastructure such as firewalls and endpoint protection. Perform vulnerability testing and analysis across CMI's infrastructure and deployed devices, recommending remediation processes to the appropriate teams. Provide advice and guidance on information security best practices to all CMI personnel. Who we are looking for: Competent in conducting forensic investigations in the event of a data breach or other information security challenges. Broad knowledge and excellent understanding of information security solutions and their supporting systems. Ability to work effectively under pressure in order to achieve the necessary outcomes. Strong understanding of the Cyber Essentials framework and the specified controls required for compliance. Experienced in the secure deployment, management, maintenance and troubleshooting of multiple information systems such as firewalls, switches, routers, servers, desktops, Macbooks, Chromebooks, laptops and other mobile devices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; good telephone manner and ability to listen effectively. Experience in cloud & web security fundamentals An educational background in an information security-related subject and previous experience is preferred.
