IT Manager

This is a varied role where no day will be the same You will manage the companies IT systems, maintain supplier relationships, manage IT staff, and ultimately have a commitment to delivering high quality service to internal and external client groups. The IT Manager role is critical to developing and maintaining the systems and the processes that will ensure they can meet and exceed client needs and their financial goals. Key responsibilities
• Offer frontline support to all staff and users
• Effectively manage relationships with suppliers by developing collaborative working practices and ensuring optimum cost and service levels
• Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade and support of all current IT systems, including telephony
• Install and maintain computer hardware, software and networks ensuring technology is accessible and equipped with current hardware & software
• Information Security (ISO/GDPR)
• Develop, agree and implement IT strategies
• Ensure continuous improvements in quality of IT
• Recommend and implement improved processes resulting in improvements in quality
• Develop and implement all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing and service provision
• Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources
• Provide recommendations about purchase of technology resources
• Maintain log of required repairs and maintenance What the employer is looking for:
• IT Management experience
• Virtualization technologies (Hyper-V 2016), Windows Server (2008 / 2012 / 2016 and upwards), SQL Server (2008r2, 2016 upwards), Office 365, Active Directory / Group Policy, Windows 10, Firewall / UTM Management, Corporate Antivirus management, Mobile Device Management
