Service Desk Administrator

A new role has been created for an Administrator within the Technical Services team of an expanding global, software company. This role is initially being recruited on a fixed term basis as a trial run, should you prove a great success, there will be every opportunity for this role to turn in to a permanent role. The purpose of this role will be to assist Technical Services with all correspondence, administration and queries - allowing the team to concentrate on the more technical aspects of the role. An ideal candidate will have exposure to supporting technical teams working on a priority based service desk, or perhaps somebody from a customer service role within a software/IT or mobile phone/telecoms company so that you have the experience dealing with customers/suppliers or colleagues within a technical environment. It goes without saying that you will have exceptional customer service skills, you are organised and can prioritise tasks well and not get flustered in a fast paced working environment. Typical duties will include dealing with suppliers, responding to the sales teams queries for the technical services team, responding to email correspondence and taking initial enquiries for the team and over time - being responsible for all administration for the team. This role is sat amongst a great department, within an outstanding company.
