Business Support Officer - Social Care (Homeworking based role) Safe Haven Accommodation have a fantastic new Business Support Officer role available. With an strong administrative background within the social care sector - specifically supporting young people - you will provide crucial business support to the team. This is a homeworking based role. About Safe Haven Accommodation: At Safe Haven Accommodation, we specialise in providing a range of supported accommodation and supported living services for semi-independent Looked After Children from the age of 16. Job Role: The post holder will be required to provide the Team Leader with effective day to day administrative support in managing and overseeing caseloads and staff team performance. To build strong and effective relationships with professionals, service users and colleagues by ensuring that information is recorded and shared appropriately in a timely manner. To act as a Duty Worker for calls received in the office from professionals, service users and staff. To ensure all relevant reports and meeting minutes are produced to a highly professional standard To ensure we meet our obligations under safeguarding and evidencing outcomes by being responsible for ensuring supervisions are taking place at the allocated times and recorded properly, and, evidence of service user's progress and outcomes is properly recorded and shared with professionals. Check Team Leader's diary, emails and handle/escalate queries Add new staff to SHA's online case management system and ensure they are always linked to the profiles of the service users they are working with Monitor staff records and provide coaching and feedback to ensure records produced are to a high standard Ensure incident reports are submitted in a timely manner Upon placement of new service users, set up service up profiles on case management system, acquire and update this with information from Local Authority and create risk assessment Create and send weekly updates to professionals for each service user Report and follow up on maintenance issues concerning YP properties Assist with finding staff for rotas where required General administrative duties - arranging transport, chasing social workers for paperwork, chasing and uploading receipts from staff etc. You can expect to work for a highly reputable company who offer: Multi-layered support from Team Leaders and Team Managers Fully funded Diploma/NVQ qualifications Company Pension Scheme 28 Days annual leave Training updates and development offered Clear progression path for staff who wish to develop their careers Paperless environments Employee Recruitment Referral Bonus Scheme Annual company events (eg, staff Christmas Parties) Hours of work (37.5 hours): 08:30 - 17:00 - Monday to Friday Location - Working from home.
