IT Delivery manager

Job Title: IT & Digital Regional Manager Location: Remote Summary and Main Purpose: To lead, motivate and develop a team of DST's to deliver high quality Apprenticeship and commercial programmes. The provision should respond to the needs of clients and learners, promote good learner achievement and progression, maintain financial viability, align with the standards outlined in the Education Inspection Framework and provide clients with an excellent return on investment. Key Accountabilities: Support the delivery of the company strategic growth plan. Implement and deliver the curriculum as set in the business plan delivering the necessary revenue and margins. Maintain subject and technical knowledge and keep abreast of competitors' offers, adjusting delivery plans accordingly. Develop a network of industry contacts to understand views and perceptions of major businesses in the industry and advise on specific issues that may affect Remit. Define, implement, and manage the programme recruitment strategy ensuring the right learners with the correct capability and aptitude are placed to meet with programme revenue and quality targets. Ensure risk assessments are in place and the required Health & Safety checks are conducted, ensuring guidance and support is provided to DCs/tutors. Ensure accurate programme set up and implementation, including Functional Skills and Personal Development. Plan and manage human and physical resources required to deliver the programme. Recruit new colleagues and line manage / performance manage colleagues in line with agreed HR Policies and Procedures. Promote the continuous development with colleagues in line with the Colleague Development Policy. Improve the quality of teaching, learning and assessment using Quality Policies and Procedures maintaining the standards of a good provider as identified within the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework and to align with current best practice. Use outcomes of the sector reviews to drive improvement in the learning experience. Ensure the EP, including challenging goals and well-constructed targets, is in place and updated regularly and effectively. Improve achievement rates, high grades and stakeholder satisfaction. Work with key stakeholders to modify training and development solutions in response to feedback. Apply the Learner Disciplinary Policy, where appropriate. Provide information and communication to colleagues through monthly team meetings. Complete an annual SAR and QIP, focussing improvement activity on key areas for development. Represent the Company externally. Promote the Company culture. Any other duties reasonably requested by the line manager. Key Requirements: Qualifications: Essential Level 2 Maths & English (or equivalent) Level 3 relevant occupational qualification and evidence of recent, relevant occupational updating or CPD. Management qualification Desirable: A recognised teaching qualification and evidence of recent and relevant pedagogical CPD. Experience: Essential Successful experience of operational delivery across varied areas of responsibility through effective planning and monitoring of performance against action plans and targets. Recent experience of managing the delivery of blended education and training, that has been judged to be good, which includes group and 121 delivery. Practical experience and understanding of Apprenticeship Standards and End Point Assessment that leads to high grades. Practical experience and understanding of the Education Inspection Framework. Practical experience of successfully implementing strategies which improve learners' progress and achievement. A strong continuous improvement orientation with experience of constantly identifying opportunities to improve learners' attraction, experience, progress and outcomes and implementing innovative strategies with positive impact. Skills and Knowledge: Essential Thorough understanding of current educational issues and knowledge of Government Funded training Excellent oral and written communication skills. Highly IT literate across the suite of Microsoft Office applications and experienced in utilising a range of information systems. Well-organised and able to effectively plan work the work of a team to ensure delivery of objectives whilst recognising the need for adaptability as priorities shift. Proactive, self-motivated and able to operate on own initiative and exercise sound judgement. A strong track record of inspiring and managing effective teams. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to and influence a diverse range of people. A strong ability to understand, analyse and present data and to develop appropriate and effective courses of action based on it.
