IT & Software Digital Skills Trainer- (Remote)

Summary and Main Purpose: To support, motivate, train, coach and assess learners to achieve their qualification in the following specialisms: IT and Software programmes. Demonstrate fun, engaging, effective teaching and delivery and deliver the Learner Impact Goals & KPI's to a caseload of learners. Key Accountabilities: Deliver and facilitate teaching and assessment that encourages accelerated learning and results in new knowledge and skills being applied into the workplace. Coach, support and mentor all apprentices to ensure they have acquired the technical skills and knowledge to achieve the framework requirements through classroom, online and remote deliver training. Manage and support the learner to collect the necessary evidence in the work place and offer encouragement to achieve all the in-centre deliverables to ensure progression for their qualification on a monthly basis. Be willing to travel and where required stay overnight at required locations to ensure learners are visited and progressed according to agreed timescale. Attention to detail on the required administration of visit reports. Plan the assessment process with learners and employers - observe, via remote delivery and learning to record assessment, feedback and complete all relevant documentation. Engage and coach the learner's line manager to provide adequate support and guidance needed by the learner during the working day. Provide learners with all the relevant policies and regulations to clarify what is expected of them and to ensure their safety. Monitor learner's welfare and health and safety in the workplace upskilling learner's knowledge regarding Safeguarding, British Values, Prevent and Equality & Diversity. Identify and highlight opportunities to develop and improve business further. Consistently demonstrate our Remit Cultural and Brand Values and behave professionally in line with these. Key Requirements: Qualifications: Essential A degree or equivalent qualifications and competencies in ICT or significant up to date industry experience to deliver the ICT suite of Apprenticeship frameworks Functional skills at Level 2 in English, Maths and ICT or equivalent qualification Assessor award or willingness to achieve the assessor award within given timescales Teaching qualification or willingness to achieve a teaching qualification Functional Skills Level 2 in English, Maths and ICT.
